About the event
Following the success of the PSN Northwest July event, we are excited to announce the details of the PSN Northwest August event…
We have more outstanding speakers lined-up for you at the August event, Trish McGirr from Repossession Rescue and Kristy Brown and Sue Clark from Soulful Minds CIC.
First a little bit about your event ambassador, David Nicklin.
David is the Managing Director of Finanze Legacy.
David has been involved in the Financial Services Sector for over 32 years, progressing through the ranks of various insurance companies before becoming a business owner and forming a financial services practice in 2002.
In 2017 he retrained as a specialist in estate planning as an IFA and set up his own estate planning company.
He is also the MD of RC Administration who administer over 800 SSAS pension schemes and is a Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds the designation of Cert CII (MP) and the CII Financial Planning Certificate.
With his extensive background and knowledge in both of these areas, a large part of what he enjoys most is helping others achieve their goals, whether it be through Estate Planning, setting up life assurance policies under trust or creating a strategy for a SSAS Member/Trustee.
David’s values are to treat everyone as you expect to be treated yourself, listen to and help as many people as he can to get to where they need to be.
A memorable moment in his own journey was receiving feedback from a customer saying “the reason I chose to work with you and your company was because you told me how great you can make me and not how great you are”.
A little bit about your speaker, TRISH MCGIRR.
Trish helps investors and property professionals, create ethical but profitable solutions when working with financially distressed homeowners and investors. Her message is that all property entrepreneurs have an essential role to play in the current economic crisis and that we hold the key to enable distressed homeowners to move on with their lives, repair their credit and break free from the despair of debt.
As a former Mental Health Nurse who spent 15 years specialising in addictions and trauma. Trish appeared to ‘have it all sorted out’ but behind the scenes her marriage was ending, and her finances were shot to bits.
Starting over with a young child to support and working 2 jobs to make ends meet, the ongoing burden of debt took its toll, and on a night when it became too much, Trish tried to end her life.
Far from being the end, this became a turning point, and although it took 10 years to get back on track, Trish left the NHS to set up a consulting business and became a property investor in 2003.
It’s through her involvement in property that Trish has been able to use her experience to help people who find themselves in the same position she was in.
A believer in how pivotal moments shape us, Trish set up Repossession Rescue Network UK to educate property professionals and improve standards of care for homeowners and investors who face losing their homes and property.
Repossession Rescue’s mission is Saving Lives; One Home At A Time.
A little bit about your speakers, KRISTY BROWN and SUE CLARK.
After 20 years as a Civil Servant Kristy entered the world of social and supported housing and property on a mission to house and empower others.
Kristy has worked in a variety of ventures and projects which have assisted property owners and social and supported housing providers in connecting and helping to house our most vulnerable but most recently found her calling as a Supported Living Provider and advisor in the sector.
Sue worked in health and social care and has a background in counselling and extensive knowledge of property; owning and renting her own diverse property portfolio. Sue owns a supported living provision in Birmingham and has successfully helped many residents to tackle the root cause of the issues they face in order to move on in life.
Sue and Kristy met 4 years ago and due to alignment of values opened up Soulful Minds CIC.
In this session they share their unique approach to support and their vision for the future.
If you want to learn how to use property with a purpose, learn how providers work with investors to secure property and how they work with their residents to empower them to move on in life this session is one for you.
