PSN FREE On-Line - October 2023 Event

We are excited to announce, the details of the PSN Online Networking FREE monthly event for October with your regular event host, Imogen Sporle, Managing Director of Property Finance and Insurance at Finanze and the theme for this months event is all about scaling your SERVICED ACCOMMODATION business the RIGHT WAY.

The online networking events are a great opportunity to connect with members of the wider PSN community from the comfort of your own home.

A little bit about your host, Imogen Sporle...

Imogen began working in Mortgages in 2019 after realising when purchasing her own home, she had no idea how to even begin a mortgage process and who to ask and even after a lot of research on the internet was no wiser. She began working with a local mortgage broker providing tailored advice for high-net-worth clients when purchasing their residential properties. Imogen gained further experience working in the Buy to let and commercial mortgage space learning invaluable information regarding different lenders' criteria and what boxes they want to tick.

Imogen then moved to Connect Mortgages where she was able to offer advice on all types of mortgages. She was therefore able to combine her skills to offer her clients the full service, taking into account their entire portfolios including any residential properties, in order to provide a tailored solution for their needs. She brings all of this experience to Finanze.

We are excited to be joined for the PSN Online Networking October event by our guest speakers SATYA MORARJI from HOST Liverpool and BEN ROSS.

A little bit about your guest speaker, SATYA MORARJI ...

1. Officially going since 2017 (personally since 2015)

2. Survived lockdown by pivoting to contractor / mid-stay market

3. Retained staff during this time

4. Trebled our managed portfolio in the past year - 11 to 36 by doubling down on the principles in this presentation

5. Consistently achieving ~40% of all bookings as direct, and 40% of all revenue coming from bookings of >1 month for the past 6 months

6. 9 staff in the core team, 20 people in the extended team

A little bit about your guest speaker, BEN ROSS...

Ben is currently converting a B&B into a seven-bedroom self-check-in Apart Hotel up in Wooler, Northumberland.    He's a firm believer in the popular saying, get comfortable being uncomfortable. He has a stammer which really held him back, it wasn't until 2020 that he finally took action and went on the McGuire course. A four-day intensive course to help stammerers. He's now in a position where he can control his stammer, which has given him the confidence to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams.   He's now focusing on SA in Northumberland. He says that hopefully, everyone will be able to take something from the talk, whether that's to inspire them on their own journey or through SA tips.
